Mika Vanhanen Awarded Ambassador of Knowledge Title – The First from the Nordics

Mika Vanhanen has received a significant international honor from Slovenia. Vanhanen is widely known for his long career as the founder of the ENO Online School and for his Peace Circle® model.
International Recognition
Since 2014, the Ambassador of Knowledge recognition has been awarded to 126 distinguished and highly esteemed individuals from 30 countries. Vanhanen is the first person from a Nordic country to join this group.
The award is given to individuals for exceptional professional and ethical achievements, as well as for responsible and innovative work. The selection also emphasizes the ability to unite people and provide examples that help address the challenges of uncertainty and rapid change in our time.
Previous Recipients
Previous recipients include the acclaimed thinker Edward de Bono, the world-renowned tenor Joseph Calleja, and NHL star Anže Kopitar.
The title is awarded by Life Learning Academia in collaboration with the Diplomatic Club of Slovenia and is confirmed by the international Committee for Good Talents.
Peace Circle® – A Finnish Social Innovation
Peace Circle® is a Finnish social innovation based on the principles of the heart, head, and hands: compassion, understanding, and action.
The model is backed by Vanhanen's 25 years of experience and his ENO online school, which spread to 150 countries and planted 30 million trees. The idea for the Peace Circle® model grew out of these actions—planting trees and making values visible.
Now spreading to schools, communities, and cities globally, Peace Circle® aims to reach one hundred countries by 2030. Vanhanen has been invited to present the model at prestigious international conferences, including in Cambridge, Cape Town, and Seville.
